Cambodia Asks S. Korea to Promote Cambodia’s Agricultural Techniques Adapted to Climate Change

Cambodia has asked the Republic of Korea to continue promoting Cambodia's agricultural techniques particularly to well adapt to the climate change.

The request was made by H.E. Say Samal, Minister of Environment in a meeting with H.E. Park Heung Kyeong, Ambassador of S. Korea to Cambodia here in Phnom Penh yesterday.

H.E. Say Samal welcomed Korea's plan to expand its Official Development Assistance (ODA) for Cambodia's human resource development as well as to invest in planting bamboo in the country shortly.

He congratulated Korea to be named as a host candidate for the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) to the UN Climate Change Conference in 2023.
