Cambodian Foreign Minister Holds Talks with His Brunei Counterpart

H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, this morning had a video call with H.E. Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof, Minister of Foreign Affairs II of Brunei Darussalam.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Cambodian top diplomat took the opportunity to once again congratulate H.E. Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof for the successful AMM, PMC + and other related meetings and on his recent appointment as the Special Envoy of the ASEAN Chair on Myanmar.

Both Foreign Ministers exchanged views and ideas on how to best implement the ASEAN Leaders’ Five-Point Consensus adopted in April, it added.

H.E. Prak Sokhonn also assured his Brunei counterpart of his full support in H.E. Dato Erywan Pehin Yusof’s noble mission and for the collective efforts of ASEAN to ensure peace, stability and the return to normalcy of Myanmar as well as for the common good of our ASEAN family, underlined the same source.
