Cambodian Gymnasts Earn 2nd Place in Korea Open Aerobic Competition 2021

Two Cambodian gymnasts earned second place in the 6th Korea Open Aerobic Competition 2021 in the Republic of Korea, according to Cambodia Gymnastics Federation.

Mr. Noy Phanna, the Secretary General of the Cambodia Gymnastics Federation shared the good news, adding that the young Cambodian gymnasts competed in the mixed pair-age group II with three other countries: South Korea, Japan and Mongolia.

The Cambodian gymnasts, Has Sokhor and Mo Sreypov made it to the second place, while the first place went to the host South Korea and Japan got the third place.

The 6th Korea Open Aerobic Competition was organised virtually for two days, from July 12-13, with the participation of 538 athletes of 310 teams from 30 countries, including Cambodia.

This is the second time, continued Mr. Noy Phanna, that his federation has sent athletes for the game, and this year only two gymnasts have been nominated for the competition due to the COVID-19 threat.
