Cambodian PM Congratulates His New Malaysian Counterpart

AKP Phnom Penh, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, has extended his congratulations to H.E. Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob on his appointment as the 9th Prime Minister of Malaysia.

 

“The trust and confidence in Your Excellency to lead your nation is indeed enormous, as Malaysia, like the rest of the world, strives to control the resurgence of COVID-19 pandemic and address its grave impact on people’s life and economy,” wrote the Cambodian Premier in his congratulatory message dated Aug. 20.

 

Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed his firm belief that under H.E. Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob’s able leadership, Malaysia will emerge stronger from the current difficulties and challenges to achieve steady high growth and further socio-economic progress in every dimension.

 

“Cambodia and Malaysia enjoy long-lasting relations of friendship and fruitful cooperation in various fields. Our trade, investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges have seen substantial increase and still growing. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen and expand these excellent ties and cooperation for the mutual benefits of our peoples and for peace, stability and security, as well as for building a resilient ASEAN community,” he underlined.
