CKF to Host Southeast Asian Championships in 2022

Cambodia Karate Federation (CKF) will host the Southeast Asian Championships in the second semester of 2022.

According to CKF Secretary General H.E. Vath Chamroeun, the event had been initially scheduled for this year, but due to the threat of COVID-19 it was postponed to 2022 with the agreement from the Southeast Asian Karate Federation.

The Secretary General considered the Southeast Asian Championships 2022 as Pre-SEA Games 2023 as it will measure the technical level of athletes toward the 2023 SEA Games hosted by Cambodia.

It is also a good opportunity for Cambodian Karate athletes to get prepared for the 2023 SEA Games, he added.
