COVID-19: 766 New Cases, 967 New Recoveries, 15 New Deaths

Cambodia this morning recorded 766 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19); bringing the tally to 75,152, pointed out the Ministry of Health in a press release.

Among the new infections, it continued, 307 were imported cases and the rest were community cased linked to the Feb. 20 outbreak.

At the same time, the ministry registered 967 new recoveries and 15 new deaths; the total cured cases and death toll jumped to 67,692 and 1,339, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was reported in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
