Cambodian Jiu-Jitsu heroine, Khan Jessa, claimed a gold medal at the American National IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship 2021, held from June 24 to 26 at Las Vegas, according to Cambodia SEA GAMES 2023's Facebook page.
More than 4,000 athletes participated in the championship, a largest annual sport event, the source added.
The Cambodian-Mexican American athlete expressed her delight for having won another gold medal, adding that she looks forward to come to Cambodia for the SEA Games in Vietnam later this year.
Khan Jessa, 19, has got many world titles in the past few years. She is also Cambodia's gold medalist of Asian Games 2018 and ASEAN Games 2019.
