Ministry Warns of Possible Thunder, Lightning, and Gusts This Week

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology (MOWRAM) has called on people to keep their vigilance of possible thunder, lightning, and gusts this week, especially in the central lowland areas.

MOWRAM explained the phenomena by the impact of low pressure from China and Southwest monsoon on Cambodia.

According to its new weather forecast issued this morning, between June 23 to 29, the temperature would vary between 24 and 35 degrees Celsius for the provinces in the central lowland areas, from 22 to 33 degrees Celsius for the provinces next to the Dangrek mountain range and highland areas in the northeast, and between 24 and 33 degrees Celsius in the coastal areas, accompanied by light to heavy rain across the country.
