The Ministry of National Defence has decided to deployed 1,050 bodyguard to perform for the opening-closing of the 3rd National Games and SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games in Cambodia.
The update was shared by H.E. Vath Chamroeun, Secretary General of CAMSOC and President of the Opening-Closing Committee following a meeting with H.E. Gen. Bun Leut, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defence and Chairman of the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces (RCAF) Coordinating Working Group here in Phnom Penh early this week.
H.E. Vath Chamroeun thanked the Ministry of National Defence as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh for the cooperation.
He was positive that the bodyguard deployment will make a difference in the opening-closing ceremonies of the 3rd National Games and the SEA Games-ASEAN Para Games.
The 3rd National Games will take place from Nov. 21 to 30, 2022 while the 32nd SEA Games will happen from May 5 to 17, 2023 and the 12th ASEAN Para Games will be organised from June 3 to 9, 2023.
