The Royal Government of Cambodia has allowed 20 schools with high standard safety guidelines to resume their operation next month.
The notification was shared by H.E. In Virakcheat, Secretary of State at the Council of Ministers in a letter to the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports H.E. Hang Chuon Naron.
The move was part of the phrase-1 plan proposed by the Ministry of Education in an effort to reopen schooling in Cambodia.
The selected 20 schools are located in Phnom Penh capital and the provinces of Siem Reap and Battambang.
Cambodia reported a new COVID-19 case this morning, bringing the national tally to 198 (43 female), of them 142 have been cured.
