Angkor Archaeological Park last month collected nearly US$9 million from the entrance ticket sale to 193,260 foreign tourists.
The update was shared by the Angkor Enterprise, the state-owned institution in charge of Angkor income management called Angkor Enterprise, in its recent press release.
The figure showed the decrease of 17.10 percent compared with the same period of 2018, the source pointed out, adding that of the total income, US$386,520 was donated to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation to support the operation of Kantha Bopha Children's Hospitals.
During the first eleven months of 2019, Angkor resort attracted 1,997,267 foreign tourists, a decrease of 14.03 percent, generating the national income of about US$89.5 million, down by 14 percent compared to the same period of last year.
Of the total collected income, US$3,994,534 was donated to Kantha Bopha Children's Hospitals.
