Cambodia Asks Japan to Boost Investments during the Post Covid-19 Period

Cambodia has asked Japanese Business Association of Cambodia (JBAC) to help encourage more tourists and investors to the country during the post Covid-19 period.

The request was made by H.E. Cham Prasidh, Senior Minister and Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation during his recent meeting with Mr. Kanda Yogo, newly appointed President of JBAC and his team at the ministry here in Phnom Penh.

H.E. Cham Prasidh congratulated Mr. Kanda Yogo’s new role and spoke highly of the association’s collaboration and missions in Cambodia.

The senior minister appreciated the smooth operation of all Japanese investment firms in Cambodia, stressing that the Royal Government of Cambodia is working hard to facilitate foreign investments even during the pandemic.

From his end, Mr. Kanda Yogo expressed his pleasure to fulfill the mission in Cambodia, and thanked the Royal Government of Cambodia, especially the ministry for the support and cooperation so far.
