Cambodia, Germany Committed to Boost Mutual Development Partnership

Cambodia and Germany have been committed to boost mutual cooperation and development partnership as well as the collaboration between Cambodia and the European Union.

The positive move followed the visit of Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng to the Federal Republic of Germany recently.

Lasting from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1, the visit was made at the invitation of the government of Germany.

During the visit, Samdech Kralahom Sar Kheng held talks with German lawmakers and leaders from relevant ministries and institutions of Germany, focusing mainly on the promotion of collaboration in all sectors, especially the exchange of human rights experience, education, health, forest management, and security and public order management.

In the meetings, the Cambodian deputy prime minister updated German delegations about ill plans by some outlawed politicians attempting to threat national peace, social security and public order.

The Royal Government of Cambodia will take very serious and necessary actions against the threat to prevent the country's peace.

He also requested Germany to examine ability to buy Carbon from Cambodia and to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in fighting against cross-border crimes, human resources development and in exchanging of decentralisation reform experience between Cambodia and Germany.
