Cambodia has cheered the Fintech Day to mark not only the progress in the Kingdom's finance sector, but also the increasing trust on banking sector.
The message was conveyed by H.E. Mrs. Neav Chanthana, Deputy Governor of the National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) in her address during the event taking place here in Phnom Penh recently.
The day, she added, was meant to serve also as a forum to share knowledge and experience in finance technology to further promote the area in Cambodia.
The NBC deputy governor continued that Cambodia will continue promoting the Fintech infrastructure as well as other support policy to further advance it.
The Fintech Day was made happen through a collaboration with the Australian Embassy in Cambodia and banking and fiance organisations and associations.
Delegates and representatives from relevant ministries, banks and micro-finance institutions, and beyond participated in the event.
