Cambodia Reports 3 New COVID-19 Cases; 1 Recovered 

Cambodian Ministry of Health has announced to detect 3 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), the tally thus rose to 246.

According to the ministry’s press release made public this morning, the new confirmed cases are Cambodian young men returning from Pakistan via Malaysia. They were tested positive on their second test or the 7th day of their quarantine.

Meanwhile, another cured case was reported on a 29-year-old Cambodian man from Indonesia, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 215 or 87.40 percent of the total cases.

The 246 confirmed cases in the Kingdom include 163 Cambodians, 40 French, 13 Malaysians, 8 Indonesians, 6 Americans, 5 British, 3 Chinese, 3 Vietnamese, 2 Canadians, 1 Belgian, 1 Indian, and 1 Kazakhstani.

Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
