Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen said his government will strive to strengthen the friendship, cooperation, and partnership with all countries.

Addressing to the closing ceremony of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's annual conference here this morning, Samdech Techo Hun Sen underlined that Cambodia will continue to strengthen the existing friendship, cooperation and partnership with all friendly countries, to restore the relationship with old friends, and to seek to build good relationship with new friends, especially in Eastern and Central Europe, Central Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America.

At the same time, the Premier shared some facts of the country's foreign policy. Making friends with everyone is easy to say than to do. For a small country like Cambodia, external pressures often force us to choose friends or make friends with some countries or enemies with others. But, making friends with anyone does not mean that Cambodia abandons its independence and sovereignty, he said.

"As a Prime Minister, I have never made any decisions to satisfy any countries. I never do anything harming the nation and the people, Samdech Techo Hun Sen affirmed.
