Cambodian and Singaporean senior foreign affairs officials have kick-started a consultative meeting to enhance cooperation within both bilateral and multi-lateral frameworks.
Under-Secretary of State at Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Ms Tuot Panha and H.E. Peter Tan, Deputy Secretary General for Asia and ASEAN Affairs of Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs co-led the meeting taking place here in Phnom Penh yesterday.
The consultative session covered heavily issues related to security, national defence, trade, education and human resource development, tourism and culture.
First of its kind, the meeting was guided by a joint memorandum of understanding between Cambodia and Singapore inked in 2017 to further promote collaboration between the two ASEAN nations.
