Cambodia has sent 17 Cambodian young athletes to attend the competition of 2019 Asian Youth Soft Tennis Championships in the Philippines.
To be concluded on August 31, the championships are participated by athletes from 13 countries across Asia.
Speaking before the departure of the Cambodian team recently here at Phnom Penh International Airport, H.E. L.G. Chea Bunheng, First Deputy President of Cambodia Tennis and Soft Tennis Court, underlined that the Cambodian youths attending the tournament are in the age range between 12 to 21 years old.
They are committed to do their best to bring success to the country, he continued.
According to H.E. L.G. Chea Bunheng, other Cambodian soft tennis athletes will also fly soon for the 1st Asian Students Soft Tennis Championships in the Philippines.
