Cambodian Delegation Bringing Medical Supplies for Timor-Leste

A Cambodian delegation led by H.E. Ouch Borith, Minister Attached to the Prime Minister and Permanent Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, is heading for Timor-Leste on a special flight.

The delegation, bringing with them Cambodia’s donation in facemasks and necessary medical materials, departed Phnom Penh International Airport this morning.

H.E. Ermenegildo “Kupa” Lopes, Ambassador of Timor-Leste to Cambodia, was also present on the occasion.

The delegation will be welcomed upon their arrival in Dili, the capital of Timor-Leste, by H.E. Ms. Dra Adaljiza Albertina Xavier Reis Magno, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Timor-Leste. As scheduled, they will return home on the same day.

The donation includes 1,000,000 facemasks, 50,000 fabric facemasks, 10,000 masks N95, 10,000 goggles, 10,000 PPE sets, 250 units of intra temperature manual check, 10,000 face shields, 10 ventilator machines for ICU Set, 10 patient monitors+accessories model: Vista 120, 250 containers (25kg each) of ChloramineB Powder, 500 sets of safety plastic boots PR, and 1,000 units of hand liquid soap.

In November, Cambodia also donated medical supplies to Laos and Myanmar in contribution to combating the COVID-19 health crisis in the region as well as the world.
