Nine Cambodian Taekwondo athletes are getting trained for the upcoming 30th SEA Games hosted by the Philippines, according to local media report.
The training being held in the Republic of Korea will last until November 15.
Speaking at Phnom Penh International Airport before the departure of the Cambodian Taekwondo team to the Republic of Korea, Mr. Chrin Sothea, Vice President of Cambodian Taekwondo Federation, shared that the Kingdom's athletes will be trained by experienced and high-profile coaches.
He added that when the training is finished, the Cambodian team will continue their 15-day training in Cambodia before leaving for the 30th Sea Games in the Philippines.
Among the nine Cambodian Taekwondo athletes, five are men and four women, including the 2018 Asian Games medalist Ms. Sorn Seavmey.
