Embassy of China in Cambodia this morning handed over 1,500 sets of biogas facilities and other materials worth about 9.6 million Chinese Yuan [roughly US$1.3 million] to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
The facilities were given to the ministry's General Department of Animal Health and Production.
The official handover of the material took place at the ministry here in Phnom Penh under the presidency of Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries H.E. Veng Sakhon and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia H.E. Wang Wentian.
According to H.E. Tan Phanara, Director General of the General Department of Animal Health and Production, the biogas facilities and materials will be handed down to line departments in seven provinces � Tboung Khmum, Kampong Cham, Prey Veng, Svay Rieng, Kampong Chhnang, Pursat, and Preah Vihea.
