H.E. Pan Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, has urged his line officials to further promote effectiveness and good governance in their work, which is a core support for successful Rectangular Strategy-Phase IV of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
The minister made the point while meeting with his officials at Phnom Penh Municipal Commerce Department this morning, adding that it is important for them to continue developing their skills and foreign language proficiency as well as to collaborate closely with competent local authorities when carrying out in-depth reforms.
He also underlined the hard work of the Royal Government of Cambodia in boosting decentralisation and deconcentration reforms at both national and sub-national levels toward sustainable economic diversification and development.
In contribution to the government's endeavour, he added, the Ministry of Commerce is fostering the protection of intellectual property right, inspection against frauds, food safety as part of consumer protection, fair competition, and beyond.
