COVID-19: 2 New Infections, 5 New Recoveries, Zero New Death

Only two new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cambodia this morning; all of locally transmitted Omicron variant, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health.

The country’s COVID-19 tally now increased to 136,262, of which 15,809 are of Omicron variant, (14,459 are Omicron community cases).

At the same time, five more patients have recovered from COVID-19, while there is no new death; the total cured and death cases thus stood at 133,177 and 3,056, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province.
