COVID-19: 258 New Infections; Tally 115,068

There are in total 258 new cases of COVID-19 reported in Cambodia this morning, of which 16 were imported, announced the Ministry of Health in a press release, adding that these are PCR test results.

The national counts thus rose to 115,068, including 19,217 imported cases, the same source pointed out.

Meanwhile, the pandemic claimed 21 new lives, but 546 more patients have recovered; bringing the total death and cured cases in the Kingdom to 2,527 and 108,403, respectively.

The first COVID-19 case was detected in Cambodia in late January 2020 in Preah Sihanouk province. The confirmed cases have surged quickly this year due to the Feb. 20 community outbreak.
