Cambodia this morning reported a new recovered case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total number of cured patients in Cambodia to 197.
The figure represents 82.08 percent of the total cases, said the Ministry of Health in a new press release made public this morning.
The recovered patient is a 38-year-old Cambodian woman returning from Indonesia, pointed out the same source, adding that she has been allowed to be discharged after being tested twice consecutively.
The 240 confirmed cases in Cambodia include 159 Cambodians, 40 French, 13 Malaysians, 8 Indonesians, 5 British, 5 Americans, 3 Chinese, 3 Vietnamese, 2 Canadians, 1 Belgian, and 1 Indian.
Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
