COVID-19: No New Case; No Recovered Patients Reported

AKP Phnom Penh, August 17, 2020 — Cambodia reported neither new confirmed case nor recovered case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to a press release of the Ministry of Health made public this morning.

Therefore the total number of confirmed cases in the Kingdom remains at 273, including 174 Cambodians, 40 French, 17 Chinese, 13 Malaysians, 8 Indonesians, 7 Americans, 5 British, 3 Vietnamese, 3 Canadians, 1 Belgian, 1 Indian, and 1 Kazakhstani.

Of them, 238 or 87.18 percent have been cured successfully.

Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
