CRC President Hosts Lunch for Victims of Human Trafficking, Rape and Violence

Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen, President of Cambodian Red Cross (CRC), has hosted solidarity lunch for victims of human trafficking, rape and domestic violence at anti-rape centre called Afesip Tumdy.

The charity gathering took place at Afesip Tumdy office located at Sangkat Prey Sar, Khan Dangkor here in Phnom Penh yesterday.

In her address to the participants of the event, the Cambodia's First Lady expressed her heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the unfortunate and inhumane deeds.

She encouraged the affected not to give in, but to work hard in order to sharpen their knowledge and skills to build a better future.

Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen took the opportunity to urge concerned authorities to take serious action to crack down on the crimes, especially illicit drug trafficking, rape and domestic violence.

The CRC president also conveyed regards of Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen to all participants.

As the President of Afesip Tumdy, Ms. Mam Somaly expressed her profound thanks to Samdech Kittiprittbandit Bun Rany Hun Sen and her team for always supporting the victims as well as activities of her organisation.
