Distance Learning App, created by the National Institute of Posts, Telecoms & ICT in cooperation with Sabay Digital Corporation, was officially launched here at the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications yesterday afternoon to promote digital education.
The official launch was presided over by Minister of Education, Youth and Sports H.E. Hang Chuon Naron and Minister of Posts and Telecommunications H.E. Chea Vandeth.
This is a new phase of digital education in Cambodia, said H.E. Hang Chuon Naron on the occasion, thanking H.E. Chea Vandeth for initiating this smartphone-based App and for establishing an e-library and digital education content through cooperation with the Republic of Korea.
Since the early school vacation in mid-March to contain the COVID-19 spread, the Ministry of Education Youth and Sports has worked with relevant ministries and institutions and the private sector to find ways to create opportunities for students to keep up with their studies.
