H.E. Mrs. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, has received a well-known documentary filmmaker Mr. Chris G. Parkhurst to talk about documenting Cambodia's singer Mr. Sinn Sisamuth.
Taking place yesterday here in Phnom Penh, Mr. Chris G. Parkhurst informed the minister of his project to produce and screen the documentary movie titled Elvis of Cambodia.
The film, he added, reflects the courage and popularity of Cambodian prominent singer in the 1960s-1970s Mr. Sinn Sisamuth.
From her end, H.E. Mrs. Phoeurng Sackona expressed her warm welcome and firm support to the filmmaker's project.
