Environment experts gathered in Phnom Penh on Nov. 13-14, 2019 in a regional workshop on Enhancing Cooperation and Synergy along Biodiversity-related Conventions in Southeast Asia through the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework.
H.E. Eang Sophalleth, Cambodian Secretary of State for Environment, presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop organised by the General Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development in collaboration with UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and ASEAN Centre of Biodiversity (ACB) with 40 local and international participants.
On the occasion, H.E. Eang Sophalleth highlighted the Royal Government's commitment in preserving ecology and biodiversity in the country.
