European Union and Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) have discussed the strengthening of environment cooperation with Cambodia.
The discussion took place in separate meetings between Minister of Environment H.E. Say Samal and Ambassador of the European Union to Cambodia H.E. Mrs. Carmen Moreno, and Country Director of SNV Mr. Alexandra Mandelbaum here in Phnom Penh on Feb. 23.
According to H.E. Say Samal, Cambodia-EU environment cooperation so far includes market promotion for Cambodia's potential organic agricultural products, increase of carbon credit market, green financing, and low interest-loan.
SNV Country Director Mr. Alexandra Mandelbaum recalled the minister on the good cooperation on environment with Cambodia, especially under the framework of climate change, green financing, market expansion for environment-friendly agricultural products, and Cambodia's carbon credit market.
H.E. Say Samal spoke highly of the good environment cooperation with both EU and SNV and looked forward to bringing it to a new level.
