National APSARA Authority has received five more statue fragments from Heritage Preservation Police Unit to Angkor region.
The official handover of the statue fragments ceremony took place lately at the authority's office in Siem Reap province.
Reportedly, the five statue fragments have been found by local people in Angkor region, and they then reported to the authority.
According to the National APSARA Authority, those five statue fragments include a body of Buddha with the height of 62 centimetres and width of 38 centimetres, 43 by 34 centimetre of sandstone pieces, 11 by 11 centimetre mythic pieces, 25 by 20 centimetre porcelain vase, and 7.5 by 8 centimetre ceramic dimple.
