H.E. Sun Chanthol, Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport, have granted a farewell for H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi, Ambassador of Japan to Cambodia.
In the meeting taking place at the ministry office late last week, H.E. Sun Chanthol appreciated close cooperation between Cambodia and Japan and thanked the government and people of Japan for assistances for Cambodia so far.
He spoke high of the Japan's support, especially in physical infrastructure development, as well as the official development assistance (ODA) from the country.
H.E. Sun Chanthol also informed his guest about the sending of five Cambodian athletes to Japan by Khmer Swimming Federation (KSF) to get trained and to expose to new experience for international competitions.
The minister of transport encouraged H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi to continue promoting Japanese investors to invest and explore business opportunity in Cambodia in his new role.
From his end, H.E. Hidehisa Horinouchi thanked the minister for his appreciation and expressed his willingness to further boost good relation and cooperation between the two countries.
