His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has expressed his conviction of deeper relations and cooperation between Cambodia and the U.S. for their peoples' interests.
The Cambodian monarch made the remarks in his thank-you letter to H.E. Donald J. Trump, President of the United States on America for his good wishes on the 66th Anniversary of Cambodia's Independence.
"While I reciprocate sincere best wishes for good health and serenity to Your Excellency, I am confident that the coming years will see our relations of friendship and cooperation continue to deepen and prosper for the best interests and well-being of our peoples," said His Majesty the King.
Cambodia today marks the 66th anniversary of national independence from France under the royal presidency of His Majesty the King.
