The Ministry of Information and Cam Info Services (CIS) signed here this afternoon an Agreement on Civil Servants’ Database Management System Installation.
The signing ceremony was presided over by H.E. Ouk Prathna, Permanent Secretary of State for Information. H.E. Souny Vong Visiddh, Secretary of State for Information and Head of the ministry’s Human Resource Training Working Group and Mr. Sun Socheat, President of CIS, were the signatories.
Speaking at the function, H.E. Ouk Prathna welcomed the signing of the agreement, stressing that this database management system will become another achievement of the Ministry of Information in strengthening the management of its civil servant’s database, which will ease the work of Personnel Department in recording, updating and reporting information about civil servants in a clear, accurate, and timely manner.
H.E. Permanent Secretary of State urged for attention to make the system accurate and diversified to respond to the ministry’s concrete need and situation, and to train relevant officials on the use and maintenance of this database management system.
According to H.E. Souny Vong Visiddh, the system is aimed to reinforce the database management of the Ministry of Information’s civil servants, both at national and sub-national levels with high efficiency and in response to the need for different data of the Ministry of Civil Service.
