Japan Plans to Organise Cambodian Contemporary Arts Fair in Angkor Resort

Japan is planning to organise a contemporary arts fair related to Cambodian civilisation in Siem Reap province's Angkor Archaeological Park.

The plan was shared by Mr. Atsushi Yazaki, Director of Japan's Contemporary Arts Organisation in a meeting with H.E. Hang Pov, Director General of the APSARA Authority in Siem Reap province yesterday.

Mr. Atsushi Yazaki underlined the exhibition plan, aiming to disseminate Cambodian culture and civilisation, especially the development of Angkor resort widely to the world.

From his end, H.E. Hang Pov welcomed the Japanese organisation's project contributing positively to promoting Cambodian image glablly.

He also invited the Japanese guest to present the planning in the upcoming meeting of the International Coordinating Committee for the Safeguarding and Development of Historic Site of Angkor (ICC-Angkor) in December.
