Japanese Ambassador Pays Exposure Visit to Svay Rieng Province

Ambassador of Japan H.E. Mikami Masahiro has paid an exposure visit to Svay Rieng, a southeastern province of Cambodia.

On Oct. 8 in the provincial hall, H.E. Ambassador met with Svay Rieng Provincial Governor H.E. Men Vibol who informed him about the province’s geographical situation and key potential areas.

The governor also briefed H.E. Mikami Masahiro on achievements of the provincial administration in the fields of economy, industry, trade, and agriculture, particularly the special economic zones where there are many Japanese companies.

Japan’s investment in Svay Rieng province has generated more than 80,000 jobs for the locals and those from other provinces, underlined H.E. Men Vibol.

H.E. Governor took the opportunity to express his gratitude to Japan for its support for different sectors and its investment in the province.
