Kampong Speu province has transformed a dessert into a huge institute and centre for agriculture development.
The legend was revealed following recent visit a delegation of Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport led by its minister H.E. Hang Chuon Naron to the newly established institute.
H.E. Hang Chuon Naron expressed his deep appreciation of the initiative, stressing that institute is profiling Kampong Speu's reputation to a new level.
The ministry will continue to give priority to educators and students at the centre to further sharpen their knowledge and experience, said the minister encouraging them to keep up the hard work.
Lying on the land surface of about 200 hectare, the centre hosts plantations of various agricultural crops and laps, and opens its door for students across Cambodia to learn and apply hands-on practices.
The establishment of the institute emphasing six key areas botany, animal science, fishery, food science, business computer literacy, and electricity was made possible through the support from Thailand.
