The construction of the new headquarters of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction kicked off here this morning under the presidency of its Minister H.E. Chea Sophara.
According to the ministry, located on an area of 3 hectares in the village of Anlong Kngan, Sangkat Khmuonh, Khan Sen Sok, in Phnom Penh, the new five-floor building consists of 450 parking lots, a reception hall, a canteen, meeting rooms, a large conference room, a storage room, a technology room, a laboratory, a professional training room, a library, a sports field and a park.
This building will reflect the Khmer identity and architectural form in the current era of peace, stability and progress.
The current headquarters of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning, and Construction will be transferred to the Municipal Department of Land Management, Urban Planning, Construction and Cadastre of Phnom Penh.
