Land Title Registration to Complete in 2021

Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction sets new deadline of completing land title registration and resolution of remaining land disputes nationwide as of 2021.

The new deadline was adjusted from 2023, announced earlier by the ministry.

As of 2021, 7 million plots of land nationwide will be registered as the ministry has increased the working teams on the registration along with related materials in order to accelerate the registration process, said H.E. Lor Davuth, Director General of the ministry’s Cadastre and Geography.

Currently, about 80 percent of total land title have been successfully registered, stated H.E. Lor Davuth, in a press conference organised by the Royal Government Spokesperson Unit at the Office of the Council of Ministers on Mar. 16.

Regarding the remaining 2,000 cases of land disputes, H.E. Lor Davuth said that the ministry is committed to solve them all in 2021.
