Ministry of Environment in collaboration with concerned development partners is hosting a training programme on 'Environmental Law and Regulations'.
According to the ministry's news release, the four day training lasts from August 26 to 29 through the cooperation between the ministry, the U.S. Department of the Interior and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
H.E. E Vuthy, Deputy Secretary General of the Secretariat of the National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD) presided over the opening of the capacity building this morning here in Phnom Penh.
More than 40 competent ministry officials, lawyers and other stakeholders attended the training primarily aimed to cover the gist of multi-sectoral environmental agreements, the conservation and its implementation.
