Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) H.E. Jan Yun Gon has suggested the high-level exchange of visit in the field of information between the two countries.
While paying a courtesy call on Cambodian Minister of Information H.E. Khieu Kanharith at the ministry this morning, H.E. Jan Yun Gon invited H.E. Minister as well as the ministry’s leaders and officials to visit DPRK to strengthen the bilateral cooperation on information exchange, after the end of COVID-19 crisis, according to H.E. Sok Prasith, Secretary of State for Information.
H.E. Ambassador laid stress on North Korean side’s intention to tighten the relations and cooperation as well as to continue the agreement on information exchange between both sides signed since 1994.
For his part, H.E. Khieu Kanharith welcomed the intention, asking the North Korean side to continue its cooperation with the Agence Kampuchea Presse (AKP), the Cambodian national news agency, by providing news articles and photos related to the development and progress of DPRK to publish in Kambuja Magazine.
Besides, H.E. Minister and H.E. Ambassador spoke highly of the relationship and diplomatic ties established by His Majesty the late King-Father, Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk and former North Korean leaders.
