The National Assembly (NA) in its 5th session of the 6th legislature, which continued this morning, approved eight important draft laws to manage the state property and boost the cooperation between Cambodia and its partner countries.
The parliamentary session was chaired by NA President Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin.
The approved legal documents include the draft law on control, use and management of state property of 12 chapters and 90 articles, the three-article draft law on approval on Agreements between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of Malaysia and between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Korea on Avoidance of Double Taxation and Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income.
The lawmakers present at the session also voted for the two-article draft laws on approval on Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of Korea and between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Russian Federation, and the two-article draft law on approval on Convention on Extradition between the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Government of the Republic of Korea.
The draft law on approval on Minamata Convention on Mercury, the draft law on approval on amendment to Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, and the draft law on approval on ASEAN-Hong Kong, China Free Trade Agreement were also on the list of approved draft laws this morning.
