The National Assembly (NA) of the sixth legislature endorsed three draft laws at its third plenary session held here at the NA Palace this morning.
The parliamentary session was presided over by Samdech Akka Moha Ponhea Chakrei Heng Samrin, President of the NA.
The first approved document is the draft law on e-commerce consisting of 12 chapters and 67 articles. It will boost e-commerce with confidence and contribute to the development of digital economy in the country in response to the industrial revolution 4.0.
While the 11-chapter-and-51-article draft law on consumer protection will support competitive markets in terms of prices and quality of goods and services, the draft law on social security fund of 11 chapters and 107 articles will enhance social welfare and living standard of people.
Yesterday, the NA approved the draft law on construction, which comprises 22 chapters and 111 articles.
