AKP Phnom Penh, Cambodia exported some 2,817,485 tonnes of agricultural crops, besides milled rice, to foreign markets in the first four months of this year, up 64.45 percent compared to the same period in 2020, despite the global COVID-19 crisis.
Figures from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries show that during this period, more than 50 types of Cambodian agricultural crops were shipped to 26 countries around the world.
The exported agricultural products included cassava, cashew nuts, corn, bean, fresh banana, pomelos, mangos, pepper, chili, vegetable and so on.
Major markets for Cambodia’s agricultural products include China, EU, ASEAN countries, India, Japan, Korea, Russia, Australia and many other nations.
