No New COVID-19 Case Found; Another Case Recovered

Cambodia has reported no new case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of this morning while another patient have recovered, according to a press release of the Ministry of Health issued on June 24.

The newly cured patient is a 21-year-old Cambodian man living in Koh Kong province who returned from Malaysia. He has been allowed to be discharged from the Khmer-Soviet Friendship Hospital in Phnom Penh after being tested negative twice consecutively.

The two remaining active cases are a Cambodian man returning from Indonesia and a Cambodian-American from the U.S.

With zero new case, the total number of confirmed cases in Cambodia remains at 130, of them 128, or 98.46 percent, have recovered.

Since the first case detected in Preah Sihanouk province in late January, the COVID-19 pandemic has so far hit 13 provinces and capital of Cambodia.
