An amount of US$128,369 has been donated to the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation for the month of July 2020 to support the children’s health care service.
The foundation shared the update in a recent press release adding that US$8,354 of the amount has been transferred to Kantha Bopha Children’s hospitals.
The remaining donation is used to buy medical supplies, construct a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) and a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at the hospital branch in Siem Reap province as well as to ensure the sustainability of the hospitals’ operations in providing free-of-charge and high quality services to children in Cambodia.
In the first semester of this year alone, the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation received a donation of over US$15 million from various donors including the Royal Government of Cambodia.
