PM Hun Sen to Attend Official Inauguration Ceremony of Indonesian President This Weekend

Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high delegation to attend, as the Guest of Honour, the official Inauguration Ceremony of Indonesian President to be held on Sunday.

According to the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation's press release, H.E Joko Widodo and H.E. Ma'ruf Amin will officially become the President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, respectively in a ceremony to take place on Oct. 20 in Jakarta, with Samdech Techo Hun Sen along with Heads of State/Government and Representatives from other ASEAN Member States in attendance.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister will be accompanied by H.E. Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Othsman Hassan, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission, as well as a number of senior government officials.

Samdech Techo Prime Minister will make a separate call on H.E. Joko Widodo to convey his well-wishes to the Indonesian President and exchange views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation and issues of common interest.

H.E. Joko Widodo was elected as President of the Republic of Indonesia for the second term 2019-2024 at the National Election on April 17 2019. The participation of Samdech Techo Prime Minister and other ASEAN dignitaries in the Inauguration Ceremony reflects the spirit of friendship and solidarity amongst ASEAN nations.
