Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen has once again called on the public to be highly vigilant of possible flash floods due to heavy rains.
"Based on the weather forecast, there will be more rain in some provinces, especially the coastal ones which would face with rising water level, storms, gusts affecting your safety," said the Premier on his Facebook page today.
At the same time, Samdech Techo Hun Sen called on the public to follow closely the news and be very careful when fishing and driving along the road to provinces being hit by flash floods.
Samdech Techo Hun Sen also asked relevant authorities to continue paying attention to rescuing and assisting the victims.
So far, flash floods have been affecting some provinces, including Preah Sihanouk, Kampot, Rattanakiri, killing at least four people.
