Samdech Tea Banh Highly Appreciates Cambodian Peacekeepers’ Sacrifice

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, Samdech Pichey Sena Tea Banh spoke highly of the sacrifice of the Cambodian blue helmet troops in carrying out with high responsibility their peacekeeping missions under the UN umbrella.

Samdech Tea Banh expressed his appreciation in a message posted on his official Fabebook page this morning.

It is a priceless sacrifice in the search for peace in the war-torn countries, building up the prestige of Cambodia and consolidating the ties of friendship between the Kingdom and the friendly countries, he underlined.

Since 2006, Cambodia has deployed more than 6,500 peacekeepers, including 300 women, to join the UN peacekeeping missions in Sudan, South Sudan, the Central African Republic, Chad, Cyprus, Lebanon, Mali, and Syria.
